We’re delighted to announce that Finlay has joined the Board and Executive Team of NuLogic Group as Group COO & CFO, taking responsibility across finance and operations. For Finlay, this isn’t a completely new beginning.
For the past two years, he has worked closely with the Group as our Fractional Finance Director, supporting the businesses through an important period of growth and helping shape the financial and operational foundations for what comes next. Now, as he joins the Board as a Director, we’re excited to have his experience, insight and energy even more closely embedded across the Group.

From Fractional Finance Director to Group COO & CFO
Over the last two years, Finlay has had the opportunity to get to know our businesses, our people and our ambitions from the inside. That experience has given him a strong understanding of where we are today — and, importantly, where we want to go next. Before joining us, Finlay spent more than 10 years building and scaling a group of businesses, including carving out and leading its operations, while also acting as CFO to a number of ambitious and fast-growing companies.
His experience goes well beyond finance.
Throughout his career, he has worked across operations, commercial strategy, M&A, technology, systems, people and business strategy. This combination gives him a broad perspective on what it takes to build and scale businesses successfully. For Finlay, finance has always been about more than the numbers. It’s about using financial insight to make better decisions, solve problems and help businesses operate more effectively. That approach has already made a real impact during his time with us and will become even more important in his new role.
Supporting the next stage of growth: NuLogic Group brings together three businesses: Vital Electronics, VECTr and Nextron Solutions.
Each business has its own strengths, expertise and opportunities, while being supported by the wider Group structure. With significant growth already achieved, we’re now focused on building the foundations for the next stage — with ambitious plans around sustainable growth, further investment, acquisitions and international expansion.
Finlay’s role will be central to that.
As Group COO & CFO, he’ll bring together finance and operations, helping ensure that our businesses have the systems, processes, financial discipline and operational infrastructure needed to support our ambitions. It’s a role that goes far beyond the traditional responsibilities of a CFO. It’s about being close to the businesses, understanding the challenges and opportunities in front of us, and working with the wider leadership team to turn our plans into action.
A natural next step
After two years working alongside the Group, Finlay’s move into a Director role feels like a natural next step. He already knows the businesses, understands our journey so far and has played a part in helping shape where we are today.
Now, he’ll be helping us build what comes next.
There’s a huge amount of opportunity across Vital Electronics, VECTr and Nextron Solutions, and we’re excited to have Finlay taking on an even greater role as we continue to grow the NuLogic Group. Welcome to the Board, Finlay. We’re looking forward to the next chapter.
